Marc Bauer asked Thomas Kuratli who performs his music as Pyrit to compose the soundtrack for The Blow-Up Regime exhibition.
Drawn from his love of electronica, dark wave and kraut, Pyrit creates songs and soundscapes of a futuristic world. Desires, questions and anxiety melted together into one musical entity, into Pyrit’s own cosmos – a unique, experimental, electronic and dark Populärmusik.
The soundscape Pyrit composed for the exhibition fills the whole space and seems to move from work to work. Sounds coming from the walls appear to make drawings breath with slow deep breaths.
The album The Blow-Up Regime is available on BandcampSpotify and iTunes.
